1. Our standard

2. What do we do to make the site accessible?
- Color contrast: We use combinations that meet a minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- Semantic HTML: We correctly use h1, h2, nav, section, footer, button vs link tags so that screen readers can navigate properly.
- Alt text in images: Each image has a meaningful alternative description.
- Keyboard navigation: All buttons, links, and forms are accessible only with Tab/Enter/Space.
- Focus visible: Interactive elements display a clear focus indicator when navigating with a keyboard.
- Adjustable text size: The text can be enlarged up to 200% without losing functionality or content.
- Labels in forms: Each field has an
- Plain language: We use simple Spanish, avoiding unnecessary technical jargon from the insurance industry.
- Responsive design: The site works on small and large screens, in both portrait and landscape orientation.

- Some stock images (Unsplash) have generic alt text; we are refining them.
- The multi-step form component requires additional cognitive accessibility validation.
- The ES/EN toggle is under construction; the English version will be available soon.
4. Compatible technologies
The site is designed to work with the following proven combinations:
